“I do it for my grandmother who lost her fight, my daughters who shouldn’t have to fight, and my sisters who are still fighting.”
Lisa’s words resonate with so many of us. On October 20, we stood together as one community of cancer warriors and survivors and showed the world what it means to be bold. Nearly 1,400 fighters rallied across the country to support more than 50 cancer-battling charities, with the support of more than 30 partners and sponsors. Together, we’ve raised almost $1.3 million to date.
Friends, that’s incredible.
You can count your impact in dollars, but you can’t place a dollar amount on the real value of your bold move. For a day, you helped to jumpstart the conversation about how cancer touches every one of us. You’ve got a lot to be proud of.
We are so grateful to all who chose to participate in Be Bold, Be Bald! this year, and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
From everyone at Small Army for a Cause
