Raised in 2021
The Jimmy Fund solely supports the fight against cancer at Dana-Farber. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to help save lives and give hope to cancer patients around the world. An official charity of the Boston Red Sox, Pan-Mass Challenge, Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association, and Variety Children’s Charity of New England, the Jimmy Fund is an American favorite.
“Dedicated to discovery…Committed to care” is the mission of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. A world leader in cancer research and treatment, the Institute was founded in 1947 by Dr. Sidney Farber and fortified by our historic partner, the Dana Foundation. Dana-Farber is renowned for using its discoveries to improve the treatment of adults and children with cancer. It is the founding member of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. It is also a federally designated Center for AIDS Research and a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Dana-Farber is consistently ranked as the number one cancer hospital in New England by U.S.News & World Report.
