You can also customize your personal donation page here. To get to your headquarters just follow these easy steps:

  2. Enter your username and password and click "enter"
  3. Click on the tabs and follow the instructions throughout the site.

Distribute donation forms at work or school

While online donations make things easy, sometimes the old-fashion way works too. A printable donation form is available on your donation page and in the "tools" section of your personal headquarters. Just print out a bunch of copies and hand them out at school or work. It has all the information people need to sponsor you (and you will get credit for the donations when they send their checks in with the form.)

Send "ask" emails to your family, friends and colleagues

There are plenty of ways to send emails to your family, friends and colleagues to tell them what you are doing on 10/22.Send emails to everyone in your address book. (you can also export your LinkedIn address book ) Here are some of the easiest ways to reach out via email:

  1. Use pre-drafted emails from your personal headquarters
Just click the "email" tab from your personal headquarters, and fill in the form. You can use one of the pre-written templates, or write your own email. The emails automatically include a link to your personal donation form, and you can send up to 30 at a time.
  2. Send emails right from your email application
You can draft your own email, or use the sample text below, and send it off to everyone you know. You can point them directly to your personal donation page, or just send them to http://beboldbebald.org and tell them to click "sponsor someone" and type in your name. It's that easy.

Dear friend,

On October 22nd, I will be wearing a bald cap for the entire day to fight cancer. In doing so, I'll be raising money for [your cancer charity]. I've set a personal fundraising goal for myself of [$X,000].

So today, I'm writing to ask that you sponsor me in Be Bold, Be Bald! As they say, every little bit counts, so whether it's ten dollars or a hundred dollars, please give what you can. To sponsor me, simply go to beboldbebald.org and click "Sponsor someone." Just type in my name, and you'll be presented with a link to my online donation page where you can then sponsor me with a check or credit card.

Thank you in advance for helping me raise money for the fight against cancer!

- Your name

Ps: In return for your generosity, I promise to send along some photos of how I look bald after October 22!

Send your bald self with the balderizer

Use the balderizer to see what you will look like on 10/22 and send it to everyone to let them know what you are doing. The balderizer makes it easy to send an email to everyone you know, asking them to sponsor you (you can even upload your contact list). The balderizer can also update your Facebook or other social media page with your bald picture, a message to all, and link to sponsor you.
