Event Details

Be Bold, Be Bald! is a national cancer fundraising event that honors those who bravely fight the disease.  Participants simply sign up to wear a bald cap on 10/21, and get people to sponsor them for for doing so.  It is free to register; however, there is an optional cost to order a bald cap ($6), t-shirt ($15) or full participation kit ($20 for bald cap, t-shirt, poster and other materals).  All registered participants receive access to a variety of online fundraising tools, including a personal fundraising page.

Who can participate?

Anyone who wants to help raise money for cancer charities without worrying about training beforehand or taking valuable time off for the event itself.

When is the event?

October 21, 2011, from when you wake up until you go to bed.

Why should you do this?

To raise money for cancer charities, honor loved ones, and gain a little more understanding about one of the challenges many people with cancer face. Read more about "Our Story" and why we started this event.

How much does it cost to participate?

It is free to participate in Be Bold, Be Bald! and get access to all the online fundraising tools. However, you can order a bald cap and/or t-shirt when you register for a nominal cost. (Full partcipation package is $20; bald cap only is $6; t-shirt only is $15)

How do I sign up?

Just click "sign up now", and follow the instructions from there.  You can join as an individual, start a team, or join an existing team.  All participants can select the 501c3 cancer charity to which they'd like your proceeds to be donated. For more help on signing up, visit our help page.
