I am 14 years old and a freshman in High School. When I was 6 years old I was diagnosed with leukemia (A.L.L.) I relapsed 18 months into a 3 year,2 month protocol and had a sibling match bone marrow transplant from my older sister Samantha (who was 10 at the time). At 8 years old I became a cancer and transplant survivor. I don't remember a lot of the stuff I went through but I do remember being bald and being very sick a lot. My Mom showed me the ad in Family Fun Magazine for Be Bold, Be Bald. I thought it would be awesome to actually have a say in being bald this time around—chemo and radiation made me bald twice and the 3rd time it will be for fun and a good cause! I have been wearing my shirt to school and getting some interest from other kids. My Mom has emailed the group of people who supported me through my treatments and we are hoping to have a party on Thursday,Oct 21st where we will charge a $5.00 donation to come to my house and party and eat from a chocolate fountain.

I have found that kids that have or had cancer are the most amazing kids in the world. You are brave, strong, caring people. I used to work with cancer patients and the kids wowed me the most. I pray you stay healthy and cancer free for life Christopher. God bless you and your family.
