Gilda’s Club South Florida is a free, nonprofit support community for anyone touched by cancer. The mission of Gilda’s Club is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Named in honor of comedian Gilda Radner – one of the original cast members of Saturday Night Live – who died of ovarian cancer in 1989 at the age of 42, Gilda's Club provides free support for everyone living with cancer – men, women, teens, and children, along with their families and friends. Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing support groups, healthy lifestyle workshops, educational programs, and social activities. Our comprehensive program components are offered in a nonresidential, nonmedical, home-like setting and in the community to best serve our members.
