I lost my dad to cancer on july 13th 2007...he was 63......I lost my mom to cancer on jan 15th 2010....she was 59.....My dads twin brother also lost to cancer 1996, my step-mom in 2002  my moms sister 2011, my 1st cousin 2011....I also have a 1st cousin who has been in remission since 1999.....

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2011. When I stared to lose my hair due to my chemo treatments I was very upset and cried evry time i took out a handful. It was really hard for me because prior to this I had cut off 25 inches of hair in anticipation of losing it.

In early July of this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer for a third time. I had a left breast simple mastecomy. My surgeon thought I would only have to take Arimidex for the rest of my life. When I met with my oncologist, I was in total shock at what he had to say.

I am 14 years old and a freshman in High School. When I was 6 years old I was diagnosed with leukemia (A.L.L.) I relapsed 18 months into a 3 year,2 month protocol and had a sibling match bone marrow transplant from my older sister Samantha (who was 10 at the time).

15 years ago I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in my left breast and considered myself very lucky that it was caught on a mammogram and was only the size of a dime. 8 nodes were removed and they were clear. A lumpectomy and radiation was the treatment.

My son was diagnosed at 2 1/2 with stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2001. He had 5 rounds of chemo, tumor resection, local radiation and two bone marrow transplants. Now he is almost 9 years old!

He's a little on the small side due to the radiation, but is the most socially well-adjusted kid I know.
