Read more...I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2011. When I stared to lose my hair due to my chemo treatments I was very upset and cried evry time i took out a handful. It was really hard for me because prior to this I had cut off 25 inches of hair in anticipation of losing it.

Read more...15 years ago I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in my left breast and considered myself very lucky that it was caught on a mammogram and was only the size of a dime. 8 nodes were removed and they were clear. A lumpectomy and radiation was the treatment.

step-daughter who is fighting to survive lung cancer.
I first participated in Be Bold Be Bald in 2009, a friend brought it to my attention and I thought, since I have a close friend that has been battling cancer for many years, I would participate, have fun and raise some money to help fight this horrible disease.

Read more...My son was diagnosed at 2 1/2 with stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2001. He had 5 rounds of chemo, tumor resection, local radiation and two bone marrow transplants. Now he is almost 9 years old!
He's a little on the small side due to the radiation, but is the most socially well-adjusted kid I know.
